When something happened that sent my life spinning in a devastatingly downward direction, I had to constantly stop and remove myself from situations and think about them before I stepped back in and acted. Never before in my life was this such an important factor in the success of my recovery. Nothing else, but this approach to life, works right now.
Life isn't perfect, and neither are people. And sometimes it seems like we're taking steps backward and it's scary, but maybe our steps backwards are in the right direction and we just dont know it because we're all turned around. Sometimes I think my life is a lot like that right now. Maybe someday I'll find myself in such a wonderful place and be able to turn around and see what's in front of me and take steps in the right direction with confidence and foresight. ... But until that day comes, I'm left feeling as though I'm wandering backwards through a wilderness of sorrow.

Struggles
I feel empowered by my trials and seek to shoot forward out of this mess of a struggle, outward and upward. I plan on continuing on with my schooling here at BYU-Idaho and work towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. I have 2 jobs and a nice apartment.

Beans
Though life is often described as a roller coaster, one would think that after being on the ride for so long, it would be easy to determine when it's time to get off... or shut up and enjoy the ride. Well, the roller coaster is making me sick and I'm about to puke all over myself and everyone else on the ride. Please, will someone let me off?
